Arcady Cruise sells itself under "Halong Bay", and that is accurate: on the standard 2-day, 1-night programme the ship visits Luon cave, Ti Top island and Sung Sot cave, all in Ha Long Bay, and has no stop in Lan Ha. Some platform titles add "Lan Ha" anyway. If Lan Ha is why you are going, Arcady works only as the 3-day, 2-night trip; otherwise a ship that anchors in Lan Ha is the better buy.

There is a spa but no pool. Launch year and hull material are not published; ask the operator if a steel hull matters to you. The same Hanoi-based operator also runs the Arcady Premium and Halong Asiana day boats.
The route: Ha Long or Lan Ha?
This is the key point of this review. The official 2D1N goes to Luon cave (by kayak or bamboo boat), Ti Top island for the beach or the summit, and Sung Sot cave on Day 2. All three are on the Ha Long side, in Quang Ninh. It does not cross into Lan Ha.
The 3D2N keeps that programme for Days 1 and 3 and spends Day 2 on a smaller day boat in Lan Ha: a kayak stop in the "Virgin Cave" and "Roster" area, lunch on board, a cave visit and a swim at Ba Trai Dao ("Three Peaches") beach. Ba Trai Dao is often a swim stop when access, tide and weather allow; its access status is disputed. And kayaking in the Cat Ba bays, Lan Ha included, has been under an official suspension since late 2024, so ask what replaces it (VnExpress report).

The Trip.com listing is titled "Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay overnight trip" and Klook's page address mentions Lan Ha too, while the operator's own 2D1N stays in Ha Long. Read the itinerary in the listing, not the title. The difference between the two bays is explained in Lan Ha vs Ha Long.

Klook is the place to book the overnight cruise: from $148, rated 4.7 by 169 guests. GetYourGuide sells the same 2D1N from $189 with few reviews, and Trip.com from $272 with optional transfer, so Klook is clearly cheaper today; check that cabin type and transfer match before comparing. The GetYourGuide day trip at $54 is the separate Arcady Premium day cruise in Ha Long, not the overnight ship.
Children under 5 sharing with two adults go free; ages 5–11 pay 75%; over 11 pay the adult fare. Two children mean a Family cabin.
What travelers should check
There are not enough independent reviews to summarize recurring themes reliably. Before you book, check three things: that the listing's itinerary shows the stops you want (Ha Long caves or Lan Ha), whether a transfer from Hanoi is included, and the cancellation rule of the specific rate.
How to book and cancel
Direct, cancellation follows the rate type printed on the voucher: no-shows pay 100%, and promotional or package rates are non-refundable. Card payments carry a 3.5% fee, and any rise in official entrance fees is passed on as a surcharge. On Klook, the terms are set per activity and shown before payment. In storm season the port authority, not the cruise line, decides whether boats sail. The booking guide compares direct and platform terms.
Alternatives that actually sail Lan Ha
If you want two days and one night inside Lan Ha, these board at Tuan Chau like Arcady but anchor on the Lan Ha side:
- Aspira, 22 cabins, Lot 38, sold on Klook under its own name
- La Pandora, from Slot 26, currently cheaper on Klook than on GetYourGuide
- Elite of the Seas, 35 cabins, strong GetYourGuide reviews
- Rosy, 22 suites with balcony and bathtub
